Erythropoietin (EPO) 4000 IU Injection is a synthetic form of a naturally occurring hormone produced by the kidneys, known as erythropoietin. This hormone is essential for the production of red blood cells (RBCs) in the bone marrow. The synthetic version is used to treat anemia, particularly in patients with chronic kidney disease, cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, and individuals with certain other conditions that lead to a deficiency in red blood cell production.
